We live in a world that is constantly changing and being created. We all go through slump periods and try seek out new sources for inspiration.
Yet in the world of design, nothing is original. We’re all influenced and inspired by the designs we see around us. Most likely, an idea you form in your head is a combination of everything you’ve seen, watched and read.
Nothing you create is original, but the biggest source of originality in your work come from yourself; as a unique human being. It comes from your own experiences, stories and perspective that shape how you choose to create and what to implement in your designs.
So take a step back from finding inspiration from existing work, and go back to the basics, through - colours, shapes, conversations, your senses and more!
